COMPANY’S POLICY
KAPPA MARINE CONSULTANTS Ltd., was established in February 1994 in Piraeus as a Naval Technical Bureau by Dimitris A. Kavouras, Naval Architect (Dipl. National Technical University of Athens) and Marine Engineer (MSc University of London).
Within one year KAPPA MARINE CONSULTANTS Ltd. was joined by young and experienced Naval Architects, Ship Designers and Marine Surveyors, forming a dynamic engineering team, capable of meeting all complex requirements of marine projects arise in Piraeus and worldwide marine market.
The company's major objective is to present a young and efficient engineering team, not only highly specialized and able to carry out specific marine projects such as Ship Design for Newbuilding Ships and Major Conversions of Passenger and Commercial Ships, but been properly supported by the most recent developments of computer software applications and hardware equipment, to provide full technical consultancy to a great variety of companies based in local area or the worldwide marine market, i.e. Ship Owners, Shipping Management Companies, Shipyards and Repair Yards, Investors, Insurance Companies, Banks, Underwriters, Agents, etc.
As the variety and specific character of marine projects usually requires extended specialization, which sometimes lays out of our company's strategy, project based co-operation with highly specialized Associates and Organizations has been already successfully established (Classification Societies and Nationally Technical University of Athens, Naval Architecture Research Laboratory), which gives us the ability to perform a complete solution of technical support.
As a Service Company we understand that success is dependent on providing our Clients with high quality services efficiently and at competitive prices and within reasonable time.
After ten years of steady growth, we are proud to have established our position in the Marine Market and present many successfully completed projects of highest quality with highly demanding Clients and very strict Project Management. Nowadays, with conservative but determined steps, we plan the policies that will allow us to maintain our strong position and to look forward to the future with optimism and confidence.
